Artist Talk: Marzieh Homayoun

Join Mackie Lake House Artist-in-Residence Marzieh Homayoun for an in-person artist talk on Saturday, November 15 at the Vernon Public Art Gallery. Homayoun will discuss her residency at Mackie Lake House, where she created the work on display in her exhibition Whispers of Home. She will share the personal and cultural influences that shape her practice, including her engagement with the delicacy of Persian miniature painting and her blending of natural imagery with surrealist elements.
Through this talk, attendees will gain insight into her creative process, the ideas behind her works, and the ways in which memory, culture, and place inform her artistic vision.
