25     BC Culture Days, Artist Demonstration
         Susan Richards of Studio 410 Jewelry Design
         To celebrate B.C.’s Culture Days the Gallery is pleased to present an Artist Demonstration
         by Susan Richards. Susan is a local, self-taught artist who uses found and recycled objects
       
 to create her unique pieces.  Celebrate the arts, pop by the Gallery and take a look at Susan’s  
         creative jewelry pieces.

25   Saturday, 2-4 pm, Artist Trading Cards
        The Gallery will host the ATC session focused on the creation and trading of finished 
        miniature artwork. Materials are provided. $2 drop-in fee.  Don’t forget to submit your
        ATC’s to the Gallery’s first ever ATC exhibition titled, 2.5 x 3.5!

 

 

OCTOBER

2     Saturday, 1 pm Brian Monteith Artist Talk
         Artist Brian Monteith will talk about his work in the exhibit, Unfinished Business.

5     Tuesday, 12 pm, John Hartman
        The Vernon Public Art Gallery is hosting a series of presentations on the development
        in visual arts from Renaissance to contemporary art. 

9     Saturday, 1-3:30 pm, Printmaking Workshop “The Monotype.”  
       The Gallery will be hosting a printmaking demo taught by BFA graduate and Gallery
      
employee, Cyan.  Come by the gallery and discover the spontaneity of monotypes
       through the combination of painting and drawing media. $3 drop-in fee.
